Ordering, Delivery, Post & Packing
When you order from us you are ordering a number plate to fit to your vehicle, we don't sell personalised registration numbers - you must own the registration number you are ordering - we can't be held responsible if you order plates for a registration you don't legally own.

All orders received before 5pm will be dispatched that day. Any order after 5pm will be classed as before 5pm the following day. Weekend orders are classed as before 5pm Monday. Orders can only be cancelled if work has not started on the order - we charge a £5 cancellation fee to cover the costs of taking the order and processing payments.

We will make the plate as you designed it on our plate builder - we can't be held responsible if you make errors during the ordering process it is the customers responsibilty to make sure the order is correct. If you make an error on the plates we can not issue a new set with the correction on for free as it is the customers error.

Most orders are generally received within 48hrs, but please allow up to five working days for delivery. If you place an especially high-value order we reserve the right to contact you for further confirmation of your delivery details, prior to authorisation.

Non Delivery Of Plates: If you don't recieve your plates in a reasonable amount of time then please contact us. We have to allow 15 working days to elapse before Royal Mail considers an item lost, after that time we can claim against Royal Mail and issue you a new set of plates. Royal Mail allows 15 working days to allow enough time for the plates to be returned to us in the event of delivery problems.

After you place your order you will recieve a confirmation email, this will contain a link where you can add notes directly to your order. Please be aware we don't use the paypal note system so any notes left there will not be acted on. For a note to be valid it MUST be left via our own direct note system directly on your order or via email. Customers are advised to email or call at once regarding any questions in relation to their order, we can not be held responsible if a delay in contact by the customer results in the plates being made and dispatched before the customer contacts us.

When the Special Delivery option is selected we can not be held responsible if the item is delayed when the circumstances are beyond our control - for example if Royal Mail suspend the delivery guarantee.

Payment:
No1 Showplates and our secure payment service providers use the latest technology to protect your credit card information and do not release it to any outside organisation. You can place your orders using our secure encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions)

Bespoke Work
We will happily undertake bespoke work that can not be ordered through the website. Please call us or email us with your requirements. We will happily tailor the artwork to your requirments but we do charge an £8 artwork fee in addition to the cost of the plates and require an order be placed on the website before any bespoke work can be undertaken.

Bespoke work can only be requested via telephone or email.

Phone Orders
We are more than happy to take telephone orders, though we do prefer to customers to use the website for ordering as we are an Internet Based Company and the website is the best way to avoid errors. If you place an order via the telephone we don't take any responsibility for any errors on phone orders - all phone orders are recorded.

Fraud Prevention
We will take steps to protect ourselves from online fraud and have identified the common items that may indicate an order may not be legitimate. We reserve the right to waive the same day dispatch promise while we take additional measures to ensure the order is legitiamate, this involves checks on the card used to pay for the order, electoral roll and address checks. In some instances we reserve the right to deliver to the card holders address only. We reserve the right to cancel an order and refund the card used to pay if we can not satisy ourselves that an order is legitimate. In cases of fraud we will pass on details to the Police.

Returns Policy
No1 Showplates wants you to be happy every time you shop with us.  We will be happy to give a prompt replacement if the return results either from an error made by us or from a damaged or defective item, we can only issue replacements in the style of the original order - we can not change the design of plates on replacements. However, you must notify and return the damaged or defective product and this must be received by us within 14 days of delivery to you. You will not be charged any additional postage or handling fees for replacement. To make a return, please give the reason for the return and wrap the package securely. We only refund postage costs to cover 1st class costs only and only if the plates are deemed faulty by us.

We can not refund for plates if you change your mind - number plates are classed as personalised items.

Customer Errors
We make the plates with the information you enter when you place your order. We can not be held responsible for any errors made by the custmomer. The packing note shows the order as entered by the customer. We are not oblidged to give refunds for personalised items if the mistake is yours. We don't sell personalised registrations we simply sell the plates that go onto your vehicle.

Errors and Omissions
We make every effort to ensure that the information on our site is accurate and up to date. We will promptly correct any errors brought to our attention. If you find an error please contact us at askus@no1showplates.co.uk Plate displayed are for illustration only, plates may differ from those shown. If in doubt please phone or e-mail our Sales team, who will be pleased to advise you. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale, at any point prior to dispatch, for whatever reason. No guarantees are given as to the accuracy of the colours.

Disclaimer
Any plates ordered through our website are sold as show plates and are for off road use only. If you chose to buy a plate that resembles a legal plate and subsequently use this on your vehicle we can accept no responsibility for this in any way or form. The term legal on the website describes the item, it does not mean the plates will be legal if that item is used, For example Legal Standard Font is the font used on legal plates. For plates that meet the legal requirement in terms of spacing and look we will not place our name and postcode on them unless you type No1showplates as the slogan - if you don't do this we will not put our name and postcode on the plates.

Legal Requirments placed on us
We keep a detailed record of all new number plates that are made and the details of the person who has bought them, we will fully co-operate with the authorities if the number plates are used for any illegal purposes.
It is the customer’s responsibility to make themselves aware of the regulations regarding Number Plates, these can be found on the DVLA website. All design, colours and images on this site are for guidance only, in some cases on yellow plates the colour ordered may appear darker, i.e. light blue may look green.  

Discount Codes
Discount via discount codes can only be claimed at the time of ordering, and can not be applied after the order has been placed. You can only claim one discount per order. We take no responsibility if customers fail to enter a discount code and as such miss out on discounts available.

We may contact you from time to time within relation to special offers and promotions, if you would rather we didn't contact you simply email optout@no1showplates.co.uk detailing your order number and will ensure your email address is removed.
